Verify System Information

Ensure your system information matches your hardware before proceeding with BIOS updates.

Access System Information

1. Press Windows + R

2. Type msinfo32 and press Enter

3. Look for the following information:

  • BaseBoard Manufacturer
  • BaseBoard Product
  • BIOS Version/Date

Verify Hardware Match

Compare the displayed information with your physical hardware:

  • Check motherboard model number
  • Verify manufacturer information
  • Note down current BIOS version

Alternative BIOS Access

If system information is unclear:

  • Restart your computer
  • Press F2, F12, or Del during startup
  • Check BIOS information directly

Important Notice

If the Manufacturer/Model/Product/Version listed in System Information does not match your original motherboard, your system information (msinfo) may need to be fixed. This can cause issues during BIOS updates or spoofing processes.

Ensure your msinfo is accurate before proceeding.

Mismatched Information

If system information doesn't match your hardware, do not proceed with BIOS updates until resolved.
